Two routes: the MCP connector if your plan supports it, or the paste-pack if it does not. Either way your AI ends up briefed.

// STEP 0 · GET YOUR KEY

  1. Sign in at terminal.quantgpt.co and open ACCOUNT.
  2. Under MCP KEYS, label a key and hit ISSUE KEY.
  3. Copy the qg_sk_... value now; it is shown once.

// ROUTE A · THE CONNECTOR (MCP)

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors. Enable developer mode if the option is gated behind it.
  2. Choose Add MCP server (naming varies slightly by release).
  3. Server URL: https://terminal.quantgpt.co/mcp
  4. Auth header: Authorization: Bearer qg_sk_YOUR_KEY
  5. Save, open a new chat, and ask it to call describe_capabilities. It starts with the core desk of eleven tools; ask it to call available_categories when a task needs the equity, portfolio, macro or alt-market tools, and it switches them on for your key.

// ROUTE B · THE PASTE-PACK (NO MCP NEEDED)

  1. Open the paste-pack and copy the whole block.
  2. Paste it as the first message of a new ChatGPT conversation.
  3. It now knows what QuantGPT is, the methodology, and THE RAMP, and it will walk you up the steps. You relay numbers from the terminal; it interprets them.

On the connector route, the AI light in the terminal nav turns green after the first call: RAMP 05 and 06 done.

Which route? The connector is strictly better (your AI runs the studies itself). The paste-pack is the fallback and the tryout: it also works before you have a paid key, as a way to interrogate what QuantGPT even is.

500 calls per day per operator across all keys. Read-only tools: nothing your AI can call places, modifies, or cancels an order. Three active keys max; rotate any time.
